Hot Docs 2006 Press Conference

College Street, Toronto



Outside it was sunny and warm, inside it was standing room only at this morning's press conference to launch the 2006 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, North America's largest doc fest!

Managing Director Brett Hendrie and Development Director Rose Bellosillo introduce some of this year's docs.



Lynn Fernie and Hubert Davis (whose 2004 doc, Hardwood, was nominated for an Oscar) introduce the Canadian Spectrum programme.



I'm on a roll, I got to meet David Cronenberg and Alan King (above, left) within a month of one another! John Haslett Cuff (above, right) has a documentary profile of King screening at this year's fest.
